Manwin Hotel Collapse and Today’s Road Closures

Early this morning, the historic Manwin Hotel on Main Street was destroyed after a major fire led to a full structural collapse. Fire crews responded around 4 a.m., and by sunrise the building was declared a total loss. Main Street is now closed between Logan Avenue and Higgins Avenue, with additional closures around the area as crews continue their work.

These closures will create challenges for drivers today, especially during peak hours. Detours may be slower, and traffic will be heavier than usual — but with patience and teamwork, we’ll get through the day smoothly.

We’ve handled tough mornings before.

We’ve got this.
